5 Week Beginners Yoga Course

Our 5 week beginners yoga course is designed to teach you exactly what to do, how to do it and we explain why to do it that way. Because getting good instruction from the start is important we work hard to give you the very best. Our focus is on quality. When it comes to beginners yoga in Townsville, nothing else comes close.

About the course

Each 75 minute class has 5 main sections:

  1. Meditation (non-religious)
  2. Breath work (breathing exercises for energy)
  3. Posture (anatomically aligned, structurally balanced yoga poses)
  4. Relaxation (dealing effectively with stress)
  5. Philosophy (positive, uplifting, life-affirming thoughts and ideas)

You will learn

  • 28 yoga poses – introduced in a carefully structured way and chosen to build strength and flexibility, as well as beginning to immediately help with common issues such as lower back pain or neck stiffness.
  • 2 breathing techniques to increase your energy and calm the mind
  • 1 simple effective meditation technique
  • deep relaxation

We provide the mat as well as all of the equipment you will need during the course, besides that, all you need to bring is a towel, water bottle, and most importantly, an open mind and willing attitude.

The 2019 starting dates for the beginners course in Townsville are:

Please note: there will only be 3 Introduction to Yoga courses held in 2019.

The 5 Week course costs: $85 (pass valid for 3 months)
